Anti-corruption Session

Posted by uyanga Tuesday, March 3, 2009

Preventing and addressing fraud and corruption in IFAD-funded projects is an issue that affects all parties involved in implementing and supervising projects, as ultimately, fraud and corruption diverts resources intended to those who need it most.

IFAD's Anti-corruption policy imposes zero-tolerance to fraud and corruption.

The session addressed the issue in the context of 'managing projects for results', giving examples of some of the more frequent problems and showing how implementing agencies and IFAD can jointly face this challenges in achieving better results for our projects and its beneficiaries.
